Loving and Leaning Into God’s Fiery Love
I love thinking about God’s mightiness.
Sometimes it can seem intimidating (OT!). But we can KNOW 100% that we are safe in God’s love for he works for the good of those who love him.
And we know that God causes everything to work together[a] for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. (Romans 8:28)
As I was praying, I felt God show me an image that reflected my heart. I was walking in front of God’s throne, just craving to be bowed before him. Just to be near his presence and experiencing the delight of being able to say “More of you, please God” and have him always say yes.
Then I felt him remind me,
“My fire is not uncontrollable. I know exactly how much you can handle. The better you handle what I give you, the more I will give you.”
Oh how I loved the reminder.
Isn’t it such a blessing to know God Almighty knows and cares for us so deeply?
I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. (Ephesians 3:16)
We can grow closer and closer to God and there will still be more to learn about and delight about him.
So let’s commit to pursuing God with all our hearts, yes?
Let’s not miss out by taking for granted what he’s given us.
May we appreciate the gift of his love, his presence and enjoy receiving more.
He has more for us.
