Adopting a Holy Living Mindset for 2025
Day two of the new year and thinking about repentance. This morning, I happened to read both Ezra’s prayer of repentance (chapters 9 and 10) and a Lifeway article about how revival starts with full surrender to God which of course involves repentance.
As we know… we’re not perfect and will never be! Sometimes repentance feels intimidating as it forces us to really be honest, confess our sins, and also make that decision to stop going against God and choose to do things his way.
Friends, if we believe in God, is there any better way than his way??
Rhetorical question, of course. :) There is no god like our God!
🔥 No one is holy like the LORD! There is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God. (1 Samuel 2:2)
As I was praying this morning, as I was talking to God about anger and self protection, I felt God nudge me with:
“Move forward with peace. I love you, child. Trust your prayers are with me and I will move on your behalf. For I am your healer, provider, greatest love—if you’ll let me be! Let me into all aspects of you. Let me love you like only I can. Trust you are precious to me and I love you. I love you. Live for me.”
We’re just getting started in 2025—let us not waste a day but live each day with Jesus, trusting he knows where we’re at, that he knows how to lead us, and that he never expects us to be perfect because he knows he is the only one who is. What a gift to be fully know and loved. Let us live for him. 🩷
Share with a friend you want to really do life with this year. Community is a blessing—may we have and be the friends we need.
